Tessa Davidson trained with a regional practice in Oxford, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1994, and then moved to another regional practice in Oxfordshire, managing all accounting and tax aspects of her own portfolio of owner managed businesses and private individuals.

In 1997 she joined the Norwich tax department of Coopers & Lybrand, who shortly afterwards merged with Price Waterhouse to become PricewaterhouseCoopers. During that time she was responsible for the tax affairs of a mixed portfolio of UK companies and individuals. She acquired specific expertise in capital gains tax and tax planning for a variety of shareholder transactions and also gained experience of advising individuals on residence and domicile issues, including coming to and leaving the UK, and companies on in-bound and out-bound issues.

Following promotion to senior manager in 2001, she changed role and joined the UK Tax Knowledge Management team of PricewaterhouseCoopers, assisting in the provision of mixed tax technical support to client facing teams.

Today, Tessa Davidson runs her own firm and provides a range of services based on her considerable previous experience and expertise.
